Costume Making with Jaimie Warren
Learn how to be costumer! Spring 2020 exhibitor and former Visual Arts resident Jaimie Warren will create an immersive swamp set for eight weeks of haunted activations that will culminate in a large-scale, live community musical. Join Warren in this two-day December workshop to design and create a swamp monster that could be a part of this upcoming set. At the end of the workshop, you’ll be able to commemorate the experience via an animated gif or portrait of the completed costume.
Workshop participants will also receive free admission to the musical (timing TBA) and the chance to collaborate in the live show by performing in your creation, dressing a participant with your design, or helping behind-the-scenes in the final production.
Price: $80
Date: The workshop is a two-day course meeting on December 2 and December 4. Both sessions last from 7-9:30PM.
Audience: Open to all, but especially for those who grew up on Freddy Krueger and go all out on Halloween.
Materials: Materials included in price of the class.
