Garden Sensor Workshop
Participants in this workshop will learn about the care and uses for Indian Mustard and build an automated watering system for it.
Indian Mustard is a brassica that is grown for food and used for phytoremediation, which is the process of using of plants to naturally remove toxins from the soil.
Students will leave the workshop with both a potted Indian Mustard plant and an automated watering system. We will also discuss a variety of approaches for automating small gardens.
