Merging Analog and AI with Vanessa Rosa
Join Tech Resident Alum Vanessa Rosa to learn how to combine techniques such as drawing, sculpture and photography with digital fabrication and AI models. We will cover how a drawing or a photo can become a laser cut stencil, how any object can be transformed into a 3D model using photogrammetry and 3D neural networks, how to transform your own paintings or sculptures into animations using AI techniques.
During the first class, you will be introduced to different techniques, and in the second class, participants will create their own projects to discuss and build upon.
Date: This two-time online workshop meets on Tuesday, February 8 and Tuesday, February 15 from 7-9pm ET via Zoom.
Price: $0-35.
Audience: Open to all.
Materials: Please have writing materials available.
