Join Tech Resident Hackett as he explores the notion of normalizing crime through subscription-based "Crimekits," designed to make a useful, victimless crime safe and easy. By the end of this workshop, participants will have learned more about Hackett's practice to normalize crime, and will have assembled their own Crimekits that allow one to tap into street light poles to liberate the power within.

Hackett founded and directed the Madagascar Institute, one of the top jet-powered carnival ride purveyors in Brooklyn. Surviving the Apocalypse in style has been an interest of his for a while, and has spawned a 10-episode teevee show, a monthly magazine column, and this bio.

He is a Bronx native, mostly scar tissue and questionable life choices. The New York Times called him “hulking.”

He has not been arrested in over a year.
