Red Hook Ecology Roundtable: Air
What does it take to ensure that air is clean in a bustling city? This session will focus on how we breathe, what we’re breathing and why green space matters.
About this roundtable series:
Explore the ecological history, present and future of Red Hook’s landscape; from a red clay estuary, to a thriving port, to a community exiled from the rest of Brooklyn, and soon to be accessible by public ferry. Land stewards of Red Hook will share stories and imagine how we can band together to promote a resilient ecological future in our neighborhood, with a focus on taking away some action items from each of these sessions. All sessions are all ages, come with ideas, questions and a will to collaborate!
