Community Sensor Lab
Community Sensor Lab is a collaboration between Red Hook Farms and CUNY Advanced Science Research Center’s Community Sensor Lab, where young adults and community members learn about environmental justice while developing STEAM skills as they build, install and maintain low-cost DIY air quality sensors. These sensors will be installed at several locations throughout Red Hook to monitor the air quality environment, providing data for advocacy and organizing work related to the environmental justice concerns of residents in the neighborhood.
