The intimate Found Sound Nation Presents concert series at Pioneer Works continues with this incredibly exciting & diverse line-up of artists:
Nikhil P. Yerawadekar & Low Mentality
Known for his work in groups like Antibalas, The Sway Machinery, Bright Moments and Akoya Afrobeat, multi-instrumentalist and producer Nikhil P. Yerawadekar founded the band Low Mentality in 2011. The group brings a new bass- and beat-oriented rock and roll sound to the table, merging qualities of Afrobeat, reggae, dancehall, calypso, hip-hop and folk music.
Kyungso Park
Breathtaking South Korea-based gayageum (zither) player whose compositions flow from the tranquil naturalist tendencies of classical Korean string music.
Ethan Jodziewicz and Tatiana Hargreaves
This musical offering brings together the unique voices of innovative genre-bending double bassist Ethan Jodziewicz and award-winning Appalachian fiddler/singer Tatiana Hargreaves in a passionate and virtuosic acoustic duo.
Owen Weaver
Through a combination of original music, improvisation, and collaboration with leading composers of his generation, percussionist Owen Weaver’s “intensely focused? (Gramophone) performances combine the forces of rhythm, noise, beauty and stasis while seeking the musical potential in everyday life.

About the Series
Operating under the overarching FSN ethos that encourages the diminishing of boundaries in music-making and music-listening – be they ethnic, cultural, or stylistic – this concert series features a diverse curation of artists, both local and international. Audiences and performers alike are invited to experience something special and out-of-the-ordinary, as this collection of traditional and contemporary artists, community members and visitors, congregates in a unique kind of concert environment to engage in the intimate offering of sound.
