Raga and the Moving Image

Raga is ‘that which colors the mind’ so tonight BRM provides live video and soundtracking collaborative works. BRM artists will work with video projection artists and independent filmmakers to present the spectrum of how Indian Classical inspired Music and the Moving Image create and build dialogue. Featuring works from The Biryani Boys, Ed Hanley (Canada), 3 time Emmy award winning Film Maker, Andrew Mendelson, Treeline Picture’s Josh Adler, the Raga Chamber Folk ensemble KARAVIKA presenting works by Satyajit Rai and Dana Leong’s Tektonic. Masala popcorn treats available.
