Pioneer Works Supper Club is a dinner series created to celebrate local chefs and serve as a community gathering around an original dining experience.
This edition of Supper Club features Chefs Loren Abramovitch & Daniel Soskolne of LEV, who create culinary experiences that are dynamic and different each time. They let the space, people, and energy surrounding them inspire their cooking. Guests will be invited to sit around a fire for site specific cooking with “in the moment” menu improvisation.
Please note: This dinner will be outdoors with limited capacity and will follow all Covid-19 safety guidelines. Face coverings will be mandatory, and we are asking all guests to observe social distancing when not seated.
Loren Abramovitch & Daniel Soskolne grew up in Galilee and Jerusalem. From an early age they were inspired by Israel’s melting pot of culinary backgrounds. The rich mix of culinary heritage immigrants brought with them, together with the local traditions, food was always imbued with a deeper sense of memory and emotion.
In the early 2000s each chef set out on their own culinary journeys, working in such places as Spain, Italy, Australia, England, France, and the US. Loren and Daniel met in 2010 when back in Israel. They were then both cooking under renowned Israeli Chef Eyal Shani at HaSalon restaurant in Tel Aviv. Under Shani’s tutelage, they explored local produce by foraging wild herbs and plants, and extensively scouring the markets of Jerusalem. Now both based in New York, Loren and Daniel have combined their roots, values, intentions, and life’s work into LEV.
Supper Club is presented by Chandon.
